Global, available without an import
println(...)
Writes its arguments to the output stream, followed by a newline.
Parameters
... | any | values to write; each is converted the way tostring would convert it repeats |
Return value
null.
Notes
Same stream as print, and the same one-space join between several arguments; the only difference from print is the trailing newline. println() with no arguments writes just that newline.
Example
println("a")
println("a", "b", "c") // joined the same way as print, one space between args
println() // just the newline, no arguments needed
println("type(println(\"x\")):")
println(type(println("x")))Output:
